The Daoíz and Velarde Cultural Centre houses the new cultural and artistic space of reference for children and young people in Madrid: the Real Theatre of Retiro. The Gianna Mossenta Alejandro Navarro_Arquitectos studio, in its intervention, has chosen different Fama models to furnish the spaces, with over 80 pieces distributed in groups. The Luci Pop sofa takes centre stage with 4 modular compositions in one of the largest areas of the building, while the round Arianne and Zipi&Zape footstool furnish another dynamic and multifunctional space where various activities will take place. Additionally, sofas or armchairs like Kalahari and Astoria are spread throughout different locations in the centre and blend perfectly with the concrete or exposed brick walls. This installation has posed a challenge for the Fama team, as the delivery has been carried out with a zero-packaging system, ensuring no waste is generated in both shipping and assembly. In summary, it is a spectacular intervention both due to the location and the chosen designs for the occasion.
